Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is a prominent telecommunications company in India, established on October 1, 2000. It emerged from the transformation of the Central Government Departments of Telecom Services (DTS) and Telecom Operations (DTO) into a commercial organization. BSNL offers a comprehensive range of telecom services, including landline, mobile, broadband, and enterprise solutions. With its extensive network coverage, BSNL ensures reliable connectivity across urban and rural areas, making communication accessible to millions of Indians.
During my apprenticeship at BSNL, under the expert guidance of JTO Shereena Mam, I had the privilege of gaining invaluable experience and honing my technical skills. Her unwavering support and mentorship were instrumental throughout my journey. A significant aspect of my role involved direct communication with customers, which significantly boosted my confidence and enhanced my communication skills.
Throughout this period, I successfully executed OLT Migration, ensuring optimal network performance and efficiency. I became proficient in Fault Checking, quickly identifying and resolving technical issues to maintain seamless operations. My expertise extended to ONT Configuration, optimizing Optical Network Terminals for enhanced functionality, and conducting thorough Modem Checks to ensure reliable connectivity.
This hands-on experience not only equipped me with practical technical skills but also instilled a passion for continuous learning and improvement. It was an enriching journey that prepared me for future challenges and opportunities in the telecommunications industry
